Pacman vs. Clottey - the game is ON!

After the controversial non-fight between Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather, at last Pacman had found his new opponent in the person of Joshua Clottey. That fight could have been the best fight of the decade but now that it will no longer push through, the Pacquiao vs. Clottey fight is not a disappointment. It still is an anticipated fight that will challenge Manny Pacquiao. Sure, he’s the best pound per pound boxer of today but Joshua Clottey has something up his sleeves that would challenge the PacMan team.

Joshua Clottey is a tough opponent with a boxing record of 35 wins and 3 losses and 20 KO’s.  He’s a fast puncher with an amazing left hook and jab. He also has a good counterpunch. He fought against Miguel Cotto last June but lost with an intriguing split-decision. Before the Miguel Cotto fight, the last fight he lost to was back in 2006 when he unfortunately broke his hand during the fight. His first loss was in 1999. Definitely not a bad boxing record!

Manny Pacquiao, on the other hand, is well known for his speed, stamina and attacks. He’s the most popular boxer of today and is the focus of the boxing world, wondering who he’d fight next and if he’ll ever get beaten again. The #1 pound-for-pound boxer has an amazing boxing statistics as well and a popularity that’s hard to beat with 58 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws and with 38 wins by KO’s. PacMan’s last fight was against Miguel Cotto last November and although Cotto was a tough fighter throwing heavy blows at him, he managed to win via TKO over Cotto!

On March 13, 2009, these 2 fighters would be going head to head. It’s going to be another exciting fight from the two fighters!
